Chorus Comparison: Rowin vs Eno

Chorus Comparison

There seems to be some common misconceptions about the pedals coming from Chinese manufacturers that need clearing up.

No, they aren’t all the same circuit with different names and cases. No, they aren’t all clones of currently existing pedals. The definitely do not suck. They’re simply more options in a crowded market, they deserve some attention, and you need to get an idea of those differences when making choices.

So here’s two pedals, by Rowin and Eno, that I’m A/Bing to give some sonic comparison. Again, rate is about the same, intensity is the same: it’s a question of the basic tonality.

I want a chorus and a phaser back on everyone’s board. I’m super cereal! Swishy modulation is so much fun, and so damn useable. Don’t blame the gear for being abused in previous decades.
